My name is Jane Middleton and I am the artist behind Creations4Kidz. I am a qualified teacher of Art & Design, with a BA Hons in Graphics & Illustration. My business, Creations4kidz, offers wall murals and canvas art for kids as well as Art workshops, Art clubs, half term events and art weeks. I offer your pupils (and staff) creative, stimulating and fun Art workshops for Primary school children, I can also work at secondary school level. The workshops are as follows: Mask Making These workshops involve making masks using recycled bits and bobs, card and papier mache. Masks can be any theme depending on the topic you are working on and the National Curriculum, for example African masks, animal masks, Picasso masks etc. I ask that you provide the paints and materials such as glue, wool, string, pipe cleaners and other materials you have around school or to order. 1 day is enough to complete the masks! Drawing/illustration Workshops: If the children have been reading and studying a particular book, I aim to bring those characters to life by transforming them in to a mask (brilliant for plays) or colourful 2D illustrations using water colours etc. again, I ask that you provide materials and resources. This is a 1 day workshop. Alternatively, I can work with ANY specified medium and any other type of workshop such as drawing, painting, drawing, collage, clay work, mosiac etc if you were looking for specialist help with National Curriculum Art projects.
