New CD and Band's Autumn dates

The Venue where ''Speed the Plough's' new CD was recorded by our guest accordion player.

Speed the Plough' now have a CD recorded at a Wedding in May 2010. This covers the tunes and dances which the Band play regularly at events. Please phone Yvonne on 01332 824742 for a copy.

Most of the Band's Autumn Programme for 2010 is for private events including several weddings, retirement, birthday and anniversary celebrations and a Village Fun Day.

Other Band News.
On Friday 22nd January 2010 'Speed the Plough' played for Scottish Dancing at The Heath House, Tean, Staffs, for a grand Burns' Night Celebration. 12,000 pounds was raised for the Treetops Hospice Ripple Appeal.

The magnificent Heath House will be opened to the public this year, and was featured on the Channel 4 Programme 'Country House Rescue'

Saturday 23rd February the Band were again in action as part of the entertainment at the Bridge Inn, Mansfield Road, Derby. A wonderful Scottish 5 course meal was served in the Restaurant. A real feast.
