In this country we celebrate achievement in all kinds of fields, from soap stars to footballers, but giving has traditionally been something that we have kept quiet about. The National Charity Champion Awards want to change this. If you know a charity hero, they and their chosen charity could be in line to win £30,000.

The Awards are organized by the Beacon Fellowship Charitable Trust – a body that encourages people to give time, money or skills to charitable causes. They recognise extraordinary achievements in the world of charity. With awards in seven categories and an additional overall prize, the winners will be invited to attend a gala event in London where they will receive the recognition they deserve for the good work they do.
