FREE 1/2 Day Event Sustainability Course 17/2/10 & 4/3/10

University of Derby Corporate is pleased to be offering a free half day seminar - supported by Leap Ahead - Mainstreaming Event Sustainability Through BS8901.

The seminar is an introduction to a new London 2012 Olympic 'Inspire Mark' approved BS8901 Events Management standard qualification.

This will not only provide you with an understanding of what BS8901 is all about but will help bring you up to speed with all the developments going on around the new standard. The seminar aims to help you:

* Determine whether BS8901 is appropriate and important to you and your organisation

* Understand what BS8901 involves and how to work towards a sustainable management system

* Determine the issues businesses are facing in the current economic environment that are affecting sustainability

The free half day seminar is available on either Wednesday 17 February or Thursday 4 March 2010 from 9.30am at University of Derby Corporate, Friar Gate Studios, Ford Street, Derby, DE1 1EE. Parking is available on Ford Street and Bold Lane.
