Creative Exchange - free training

Taster Sessions:

  • Web design   
  • Digital photography 
  • Photoshop   
  • Outdoor portrait and landscape photography  
  • Radio presentation, broadcasting    
  • Film making 
  • Digital Illustration
  • Video camera skills 

Film Making and Photography - In addition to the taster sessions there is an opportunity to attend a five week (one day per week) course.

Film Making – This is an instructor led, hands-on, practical course where you will learn the process of film making from the point of receiving a script, to planning and shooting, through to editing into the final product, the film.

Photography - This is an instructor led, hands-on, practical course where you learn how to use and get the most out of a digital camera. You will also gain experience of using a photographic studio and lighting techniques, landscape and location photography and Adobe Photoshop.

Courses will take place at the University of Derby, Markeaton Street site; some courses will take place on location within the local area.

There will be an opportunity to find out more about the courses and opportunities available for continued learning and development that could lead to future careers or self-employment.
