Filmmaking ‘beginners’ course takes place at QUAD in March

There is a chance for beginners to learn filmmaking through a new course at QUAD. ‘Filmmaking Basics’ course will take place in March. The course will cover basic camera, shooting and editing skills and is suitable for anyone over age 16. Students will be planning, shooting and editing a three minute short film or advert using Apple Mac computer systems. The course concentrates on the basic visual aspects of filmmaking and will mainly involve practical activities as well as teaching and demonstration.

‘Filmmaking Basics’ is a four-week course taking place on Tuesday evenings from 9th to 30th March inclusive, at 6:00pm to 8:30pm.
