Refugee Integration Awards Scheme

UnLtd, the Foundation for Social Entrepreneurs has announced that the closing date for applications to its Rise programme for Refugees is the 21st March 2010.

Funded by the European Refugee Fund Phase III and with the support of the UK Boarder Agency, the RISE Refugee Initiative for Social Entrepreneurs programme aims to unleash and encourage the potential of refugees as social entrepreneurs.

Grants of between £500 and £5,000 are available to small groups of refugees and individuals to set up projects that will make their communities a happier, safer, healthier and more just place as well as support refugees to achieve their full economic and social potential. The RISE programme has already funded over 100 refugees projects in England. UnLtd will also provide dedicated support including; training opportunities, tools and resources to ensure you develop your own skills as well as helping you develop your project.
