VISIBLE Bursaries
VISIBLE Bursaries
The Lankelly Chase Foundation has funded Community Matters to provide a bursary scheme for
members considering accreditation with the Community Matters VISIBLE Standard.
The scheme is available for members who are ready for accreditation with the VISIBLE Standard. The fund will run for three years and will provide for up to 50 per cent of the accreditation fees and up to 50 per cent of the organisational costs of members preparing for the process (to a maximum of £1,000 total per organisation).
Lankelly Chase Foundation wishes to support community anchors that want to evidence their social value, so to be eligible for a bursary, your organisation must be:
1. an independent organisation serving a neighbourhood or community of interest;
2. formally constituted, community controlled, employing at least one member of staff;
3. managing a community building owned or leased by the organisation;
4. funded through a range of incomes (including some earned income);
5. delivering a range of services and activities;
6. based in England or Wales but not within Greater London.
Organisations looking for financial support for VISIBLE accreditation but who are unable to meet all these conditions, may be eligible for support from other sources.
